    March 24, 2016 - "Mulberry tree - Cabernet & Petit Verdot"

First you get a cabernet bell pepperish scent with a greenish cabbage hint but also red fruits coming through..don't have a clou how good or bad that '10 was but I guess the greenish touch came from the less ripe or early harvested petit verdot grape..4h past the cabbage taste was gone; grilled red bell pepper, white pepper, grilled vegetables, eucalyptus, rhubarb, cassis, bacon, cherries, cherry stones - big mineral verve going on, which really surprises me in an aussie CS/PV
a bit cedar and cigar box in the finish, also some spiciness and even a bit leather..
Unconventional wine - licorice, brambles, bitter chocolate in the finish..

March 2, 2013 - A well made Cab Sav that really opened out on standing. Dry finish and smooth on the palate.

August 3, 2012 - Medium to dark red in colour, the nose is true to Cabernet varietal expression with olive, cedar and dark fruits all evident.

The palate shows dull blackberry, cherry and a lick of cedary oak and pepper, it finishes with fine tannins and acceptable length.
