February 16, 2021 - The label is imprinted with the text L01110115, which I do not know how to interpret. While this bottle was recently purchased from the retailer, it is the older style label which suggests some degree of age, I think. It pours medium gold. The nose is expressive and complex showing caramel apple, bread dough, toasted barley, fresh baked croissant, toasted almond, a kiss of toffee, and preserved lemon. The Palate is pitch perfect for me, fairly low dosage that I perceive as 5 - 7 g/l, medium plus acid, and a finish that lingers on toasted almond, preserved lemon, and caramel apple. All in all this is a very classic maturing champagne that is very much my style. This is drinking fabulously right now. Really well done.

November 22, 2018 - 01 Alsace and 11 Red Burgundy for work crowd (Home): Magnum. 08 base. A fuller and rounder style cf the Diebolt alongside. More obvious sense of dosage too. Calms and rounds with air giving a fuller bodied wine with a hint of red fruit amongst the slightly broader Chardonnay. ***

September 10, 2017 - Slightly better than the last bottle, more energy and lively fruit here, nose of lemon, lime, baked apple pie, same on the palate, crisp, lively, tasty, lovely mousse formed form lots of tiny bubbles, mouth filling, paired with Duck Pate and worked well and also with the salad course, medium finish hurt the score, nice choice for $35 plus tax.

August 7, 2017 - My only bottle which was purchased for $44.10 at auction a year ago. Nose of brioche, baked apple pie, lemon/lime, and a hint of sweetness/honey, same on the palate, medium/big body, tasty, touch simple, seemed slightly tired on the mid palate (?), good acid, easy to sip and savor as a dinner warm up wine, not bad but not a future favorite NV Champagne either, medium/long finish.

September 28, 2015 - This is a serious Champagne and, I imagine, adored by Champagne lovers. Thoroughly enjoyed this and I feel this offers tremendous value. This is a serious wine with plenty of richness and concentration.
