January 17, 2020 - During a Paulee dinner, so only brief impressions. Contender for the WOTN, this Leflaive really had it all. Wonderful complexity around oyster shell, lemon cream, flowers, minerals, vanilla. Good freshness.

May 31, 2019 - A bit ripe. Yellow fruit and hint of caramel. The acidity level was a bit low. A rich chevy that should be consumed sooner than later.

January 8, 2019 - Masterclass. Slightly floral. Some acidity, no fireworks.

December 13, 2018 - HDH December auction; 12/13/2018-12/15/2018 (Chicago, IL): Corked, but the reduction covers it. Plenty of oak, and so much intensity here. Honestly, the TCA was so faint, I'd probably still drink this. It's so good -- the right kind of reduction, plenty of caramel and oak, and tons of fruit. Intense and powerful, too.

December 13, 2018 - Wines Tasted at HDH Auction; 12/13/2018-12/15/2018 (Spiaggia - Chicago IL): Served double blind. Corked, but with so much concentration.
