June 15, 2013 - Decanted for 30 minutes to taste before guests arrived. Dark purplish-red. Nearly opaque. Tart red berries on the front with a long blackberry and plum finish. Good spice and some earth. Went well with herbed cheddar and with triple cream cow's cheese. Last bottle; wish I had more.

May 1, 2012 - Dark red. The bouquet is a bit locked at first, but later it shows red as well as black fruits and some sweetness. On the palate the same juicy fruits, good acidity and soft tannin and bitterness. Good freshness and a touch of pepper in the long finish. Ready now and no hurry.

May 6, 2008 - I'd say this wine is a pass at this price. Its not a fruit bomb yet has plenty of fruit. It just seems pretty flabby to me. Nicely drinkable but not memorable.
