November 18, 2022 - See Elevwine's 2018 note. Nothing left; 2 glasses and the rest went down the sink!
December 11, 2018 - Tuesday night so went cellar-diving where a surprise or two awaits. Not a big fan of Gamay so not sure why I bought this. Flavors still bright, at least during first hour - grape Nehi is what jumped out. Short finish, fruit faded quickly. Drink up or you will be disappointed.
October 10, 2018 - Showing very well - little sign of browning, still very fresh and floral. Lots of acidity and plenty of red fruit and spice on the palate. The finish is medium and that’s what kept it from a 90.
December 18, 2017 - Not as dynamic as last bottle. Still a brawny gamay, but less interesting this time around.
September 6, 2017 - Good Gamay. Decent, but less distinguished than the fabulous '09
May 30, 2017 - Drink fast! The fruit is fading...
February 24, 2017 - A: a pale ruby. Very translucent.
N: very ripe strawberries and cherry.
P: Medium (-) acid, low tannin, medium alcohol (13%) and light body. Fruit up front. Ripe strawberry, blackcurrant, cherry. Finish is medium.
C: alcohol still a little hot but not bad. No banana flavor u find in typical Beaujolais. Very simple. Drinkable.
January 22, 2017 - Aroma of ripe strawberry, cranberry, quite light body, with short length finish.
October 31, 2016 - Bottled opened 3 hours before. Dark cherries and wet stone, focused and balanced with medium acidity along with lingering fine grained tannins. Medium to long finish, a very enjoyable wine.
August 28, 2016 - So purely balanced and delicate, I tried it with some spicy sausages on a bbq - not the best choice but yet enjoyable.
