March 29, 2019 - I tried this at the winery in Barbaresco several (4?) years ago and enjoyed it enough to bring a bottle back to HK where it has resided in my wine cooler ever since. On opening, the aroma from the bottle was very floral. In the glass, the color was dark burgundy red. It took about 30 minutes for the wine to body out, after which red fruits and cherry started to emerge. It's quite dry and light on the palate but not terribly tannic. The acidity level is quite high, but enjoyable so. For a Normale, this is very good albeit not spectacular Barbaresco. It went very well with my lamb chop. I'm a little sorry this was my only bottle. But there again, it's probably not a keeper. Anyway, I have more reason now to revisit Barbaresco on my next trip to Italy. 90 is a fair score for a good honest Barbaresco.

November 21, 2014 - Definitely on the floral end of barbaresco. Dark fruit, rose petals and a hint of orange with smooth, almost minimal tannins given it's young age. A nice surprise on a restaurant menu, but if I had more, I would not plan on it lasting past years 12-15.

October 7, 2012 - This had to be one of the worst bottles of Barbaresco I have tried, possibly ever. I tried at the winery and remember it tasting very nice but this bottle is way off. No flaws or anything but does not taste varietally correct and tastes more like 50 % Dolcetto in the mix. The acidity was way off the reservation and very poorly made wine. Maybe a bad tank or batch but this was not what I tasted at the winery.

September 16, 2012 - A surprise find for Barbaresco. Traditional producer in the heart of the village. Great nebbiolo nose and a hint of modest oak, not barrique but good oak. Great depth and elegance. Great finish and length.
