February 5, 2022 - We had a magnum - in the beginning the wine was a bit dominated by a high level of tannins - that changed over time - and I still thing that we had medium + tannins and acidity - with a decent balance - less in the beginning - we god a lot of mature fruit - cherries, cranberries, black berries and some plum - we also got a lot of earthiness, tobacco and leather - we will give 92.

December 3, 2021 - Brilliant wine. Balance of aromas, fruit , and acid.
Great with charcuterie including Kalamata olives.
Drink now. It’s not going to get any better.

September 12, 2021 - Ready to drink with a little air. Earthy flavors with nice texture and complexity.

April 25, 2021 - Medium ruby red in color with some slight amber & clearing at the edges. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe red fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & raspberries with herbs, tobacco, tea, anise, minerals & a hint of cedar in the background. Medium-full bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, mature & ripe fruit flavors of cherries, tart cranberries & strawberries with herbs, minerals & a hint of oak. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing, At 12 years of age, it is either at or close to its peak of development. Although it could hold here for several more years if stored properly, I doubt much further development would occur.

August 6, 2020 - My last of these. This really benefited from the extra bit of bottle age I think. More on the lively side, but some power, red fruit, nice acidity. Everything in the right place and ample perfume.
