    July 2, 2013 - dark red-brown
heavy intense leather & earthy typical Saint Estephe aroma
(right after uncorking) rather mediocre on the palate

December 31, 2012 - This was a pleasant surprise after reading other tasting notes. Not particularly complex, but had nice fruit up front, decent tannins and a medium finish. Good qpr.

December 21, 2010 - Notes are from day 2 as the wine really was all over the place on day 1 and mostly unapproachable. This bottle was purchased in the UK and well kept so this may be the source of the difference vs. prior notes. Give this quite a decant for it to be rewarding. Sour cherry bouquet. Light weight, surprisingly. Red fruit on the palate with some hints of vanilla cut in the end by acidity and some minerality towards the end. Not completely balanced but enjoyable. Quite a long finish. Would not seek again (perhaps a better vintage?) but not as bad as prior notes would lead you to believe.

January 6, 2010 - Disappointinh, past it's best but still drinkable

February 18, 2009 - Hmmm...why all the bad press. Not a bad wine all around. For a limited year, this had lots of character, depth and pleasure. Not overly complex but not boring as well, a good middle of the road bordeaux.
