January 5, 2018 - I have not opened a bottle in a few years and the wait was worth it. The 2009 is showing better. It is fruit forward with medium body with a little oak, pepper and spice mid palate. The finish is medium and still has lingering fruit and spice. It is easy to pair with Italian food.

December 11, 2015 - This needs a coule of more years. It was still full of sharp tannins, but after an hour it morphed into a nice complex wine with a good finish. IT went great with Pizza and spaghetti.

May 15, 2015 - I found this orphan in the cellar and had it with pasta. Still bright and fruity, and quite smooth. No hint of alcohol, and a medium finish. Not very complex, but definitely a food wine.

November 14, 2014 - Dark fruit, medium to light tannins. Aged quite gracefully. Light pepper finish. The guests were impressed enough to consume 4 bottles.
