Lots of herbs on the nose; grapefruit peel attack and a long bitter-melon finish. I recall this being much heavier in its youth, but time has made it bright and lively. No hurry: this is delicious now but could certainly hold and possibly develop for years.

March 24, 2024 - I wouldn’t guess 12 years of age. If I had to pick a difference, just barely showing a little bit of a brown mushroom and honey note. Otherwise, as exciting and young as the 2020 in a side-by-side. Outstanding.
