  March 19, 2016 - In a good place now. Very new world cab from paso. No rough edges. Good integration and balance. Beautiful nose and solid palate. Wish I had more... Drink or hold for a little while.

  March 18, 2014 - Rich fruit, full bodied, deep ruby color, very well balanced with no tannin astringency, a lovely flavorful wine.

  April 10, 2013 - Strawberry, blackberry, blueberry, earth, cocoa and leather. Big tannins but they do not affect drinkability. Fruit is a little jammy but the wine is not over the top. Good acid.
  
  I accidentally opened this instead of their syrah/grenache/mourvedre blend and had I not looked at the label again that is what I would think I was drinking.

  September 9, 2012 - Recap of Family Winemakers of California; 2012 San Francisco Tasting-Best of the Meritage Reds: Earthy, dark fruit aromas. On the palate, it's light-bodied with ripe sour cherry cassis and vanilla flavors.
