April 25, 2023 - This is aging beautifully. The bouquet starts out muted, slowly revealing a lovely, feral aspect to aromas of dark fruit, ripe watermelon, wet earth, leather, and bay leaves. Full bodied, savory, and tensile, with a youthful structure that frames wonderful depth, breadth, and complexity. Drink with a decant or hold.

    February 23, 2023 - Similar to the 6//30/22 bottle.

October 11, 2022 - A touch richer and more complex than the 6/30/22 bottle. WOTN and a truly exceptional super Tuscan.

August 7, 2022 - (from half bottle) Dark red, edge clearing. Large bq w tobacco, dark berries, fruit cake, touch of mint, touch of oak. Plenty of tannins, fruit ripe but perhaps receding a bit, plenty of acidity. Long(ish) aftertaste with a little too much alcohol. I'd drink remaing half-bottles soon, full bottles in maybe 2-3 yrs.

June 30, 2022 - Deep red color. Aromas dark red fruits, tobacco, dark chocolate and wood spices. Ripe, full-bodied fruit in the mouth with with excellent depth and length. Grainy and complex on the palate. A delicious wine that is in the middle of its peak drinking period.
