March 24, 2020 - Took about an hour or so to open up but really improved. There was a little bit of red fruit smell/taste remaining but it had clearly faded; balanced with black pepper and smokiness with some bacon and meat present. Medium body with smooth texture and not a long finish.

    March 8, 2020 - Tasty 9 yr old Paso red blend of 40% Mouvredre, 30% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Counoise. 14.5% abv.
Black fruits, pepper, meat, coffee beans, sage, and dark chocolate.
Tannins are smooth and acidity is moderate. Drink now through 2021.

February 14, 2020 - This wine really delivered tonight. The last couple Esprit de Tablas I've opened haven't wowed me, but this seems to be in a nice spot. As others have said, this wine is elegant, smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, red fruit with smoky, earthy, and slight leather undertones. Best at pop n pour -- did not need a decant. Drank from a 375ml.

January 11, 2020 - Drinking very well right now. Very pretty and wonderfully translucent and elegant. Bright red berries, sweet herbs, and black tea notes. Really enjoyed this bottle and can't wait for my next one.
