October 14, 2006 - This wine paired well with rotisserie pork tenderloin. There was a spicy coating on the pork and the wine complemented it nicely. The lower score is for two reasons. The bottle had large amount of sediment, which we did not notice before we poured, or we would have decanted it first. The other factor is that I would not enjoy this wine stand alone.

December 13, 2005 - "I believe 2004 offers the best balance of varietal flavor, acidity, tannins, and complexity—almost regardless of variety or growing location—of any Oregon vintage since 1999." - Cole Danehower, Oregon Wine Report
