August 10, 2022 - Dinner at Playte, beautiful Burg, drinking at peak for me with good depth, interest & complexity on both nose & palate, lovely freshness, acidity & balance, Meyer lemon, extensive range of citrus fruits & a long & deep palate, very good with Spanish octopus

August 31, 2020 - wine had killer length and great density. really grew on me the longer it was open. unfortunately it was just a bit pre-moxed. which prevented it from being really outstanding. but a good drink none-the-less.

July 14, 2016 - A private lunch (Restaurant The Waterside Inn ***, Bray-on-Thames, UK): A really successful vintage for this wine, with much more nerve and tension than usual, and the expression of the vineyard, the perfectly integrated oak, the ripe style of Prieur and the wonderful freshness of the vintage work together to create a lovely harmony. Cool mineral core, ripe lemon, hint of peach even, lime zest, floral lift (jasmin), silky texture, steely and elegant, savoury, energetic and long. More Puligny than Meursault in 2010, really shining today.

July 17, 2014 - CT Tasting Group (My House): My WOTN / Group WOTN – Huge nose showed a brief meatiness that quickly developed into a distinct red fruit and spice feature. This moved on to the palate where it became more prominent throughout the night. Very broad. The palate is clean and crisp, showing less oak treatment than the Boillot and features layers of complexity. Long finish. Excellent.

July 17, 2014 - This is really impressive. Lots of depth here; layers of ripe fruit, chalk, smoke, and sweeter floral and apple butter elements all coming together very seamlessly on the nose and palate. There's a really polished, creamy texture on the palate but beneath the fruit there's also fantastic acidity and cut. Great length and each sip invites another. Fantastic.
