April 12, 2023 - Assorted riesling at D Cuisine (Chicago, IL): Absolutely stunning wine; this was showing much better than the 1989 CSH VT alongside. Clean fruit that is still youthful and showing but modest petrol notes. The botrytis isn't as prominent here and this doesn't feel mushroomy either. It's more of a textural thing on the palate with lovely breadth and concentration. Another one of my favourites tonight.

November 1, 2022 - A hauntingly beautiful nose. Hugely floral and honeyed, with dried apricot, kaffir lime, and oyster shell. fantastic nose. It's rich and broad yet beautifully focused on the palate with a mineral water like clarity. this has gravitas yet simultaneous freshness and lift. Wonderful inner mouth perfume. Viscous yet stony and finely etched. Mutlifacted with jewel like clarity. At peak, fresh as a daisy. The best bottle of this I have had. 96

November 12, 2019 - Really not sweet at all but very extracted and rich for such an aged Riesling. It has a wonderful silky texture with bright green and orange fruits with good acidity underneath. The finish is still tangy and complex with notes of petrol and minerals. Really good Riesling that will keep going for years.

November 11, 2019 - 1990 Dinner Hosted by Cedric Nicaise at Eleven Madison Park (Eleven Madison Park): Awesome acidity and balance. Big body. Not overtly sweet. Hard to put down.
