April 4, 2010 - Good solid Alcasian wine. We have always liked this and this bottle was no exception. Slightly dry, but with a hint of spice and sweetness. 89-90

July 5, 2009 - Very pleasant, aromatic and well balanced. Could use a bit more acidity but overall this is very good quality for the money.

May 9, 2008 - Apples and grass on the nose, with hints of pears. The taste was lovely mineral, citrus and sprinkles of pineapple/sweetness, with a balanced acidity. Very Hugel in some respects but lacks the final oomph of their higher quality wines. A very good blend of some traditional grapes from Alsace.

June 28, 2007 - Technically well-made (balanced acidity, no out-of-balance alcohol), flavors from many different varietals, but as a result, not focused, nothing terribly interesting. (this was drank by itself)

June 21, 2007 - Solid wine. Lots of flavor and good acidity. Dry. Great aroma. Not as spicy as other Alsacian wines I've had, but still quite good. Paired well with dinner (fish) -- yet seemed to pair even better with dessert (strawberries). Good value.

January 25, 2007 - Interesting flavor profile. If you like Alsace wines, I recommend you try it, if only for comparison purposes.

November 7, 2006 - Very good gewurztraminer, with crisp apple notes and a sweet impression. It is pale straw in color, with apple and floral aromas. Not the most exciting gewurz, but solid and excellent value.

August 9, 2006 - Highly aromatic from gerwurz and riesling, balanced fruit and acidity, delicious, great value at $10. Really nice in any recipe that showcases white wine where you want to use something good.
