November 21, 2022 - Probably at or slightly past its peak but should still drink well for a couple of years.

April 29, 2021 - 91 Apr 2021 👃 plums and stems. 👅 Black currant, black plum, ripe but not too much, stems, eucalyptus, oak. Yeah this 2010 is much better than 2011.

May 17, 2019 - Agree with previous note. Still plenty of time though drinking well now. I’ll open bottle 2 of 2 in another 3 years.

April 30, 2018 - Big and bold, pro-nounced oak (american dominant) with vanilla and spice. Rich purple fruits and intense tannin profile, almost too much so.

January 3, 2018 - 2 hour decant. Colour still very dense and dark. Restrained on the nose, needs more air. Dark fruits, chocolate on the palate. No need to hurry to drink this one.

July 26, 2016 - Inky purple colour. Full bodied, with intense dark fruits: plum & blackberry, with some sweetness, vanilla and herbal notes. Smooth tannins. Still very big and young.

August 19, 2015 - Still quite a young wine, oak present but I reckon it will settle over time. Finish a little short for my liking. Pleasnant wine though. Try again in 2018.

January 17, 2015 - inky , dark red/purple. intensive dark fruits nose: ripe plum, blackberry, moderate spice and herbals. concentrated flavours in mouth, sweet, full bodied, smooth tannins and mellowed well, some smoky and tobacco notes, mild spices and warm alcohol. medium+ sweet savoury finish with many vanilla and coca flavours. impressive weight and strength, with impressively smooth touch. a nice McLaren Vale Shiraz, very good concentration though it's just simple and 'new world' style.

October 20, 2014 - This wine has really smooth soft tannins with real intensity on the nose and palate. What strikes you immediately are the fruit aromas. The taste is balanced and not overpowering letting black cherries, blackberries and dark plums shine through. You even get vanilla on the back of the palate for a great finish. Best drinking up to 2025.

August 7, 2014 - Deep red, heady nose, lots of body and heat. Mouthfeel attractive with dusty tannins permeating through
Probably not served at its best - needs decanting and plenty of aeration - so lacked evidence of shiraz characteristics, these being overwhelmed by the heft and alcohol.
