July 2, 2019 - Very dark fruit, rich, well balanced, full bodied, luxurious and well-dosed wood.

June 24, 2019 - Complex, some smoke, wood, chicory, a little vanilla, dark fruit, super long and balanced, still has some years to go

June 20, 2019 - Still a pleasure to drink. Ruby purple color showing little sign of age. Dark berries, vanilla and sweet coconut from american oak. Long after taste, good acidity, but not so much tannin left. A very nice wine, but perhaps a little simple and sweet. Improved over the evening though where it gained more structure, so perhaps the best is yet to come.

January 13, 2019 - I thought it was over the hill and flabby but what a difference an hours makes in the decanter. Became really tight with a strong tannic finish in a good way. Extra point for being so reasonably priced.

November 3, 2018 - Decanted for 30 minutes and paired with grilled burgers.

Dark red / black in the glass. Not showing it's age. Big nose- black licorice, blackberry, leather and blueberry. Similar flavor profile on palate. Full body, medium+ acidity, medium tannins and a very long finish. Served near cellar temperature so I didn't think this was out of balance despite the wine's heft. This has aged extremely well and I really enjoyed. 93-94 range.
