August 3, 2018 - Beautifully balanced, generous and should be for another five years at least. I was disappointed that it was not as complex as some other aged cab savs I've had - perhaps because it was filtered (there is no sediment)?
Inky violets with dried roses and a touch of oregano on the nose. Big mouth of mixed dark chocolate berries and aniseed. Excellent food wine. Finish a bit of a letdown, some blueberries, charcoal and figs but dies away quickly.

November 24, 2017 - Just too old, despite being well cellared since I first purchased in 2003. Tested with Coravin and it's gone. Clearly oxidized, no remaining fruit. Sour from tip to finish. Discarded the bottle.

December 24, 2016 - Deep inky purple color blends into the ring. Dark roasted stone fruit on the palate with notes of leather, ripe cherries and vanilla. Shows as a well aged Napa Cab including that raison-ish mouthfeel distinctive of aged wines. Long chocolate finish left me happy.

November 27, 2016 - No rating since past date, no life left. Brick red, browning at edges. Nose of furniture oil, balsamic, vinegar, hints of wood. Taste is more of the same, thinning into a slightly aluminum finish. Gone. You might have luck with an odd bottle or two that survived.

November 27, 2015 - A very very good wine and not at all in decline. Rich, layered and harmonious with pure, sweet flavors and aromas. Right in its sweet spot so need to wait on this one.
