May 12, 2019 - What a nice find, not barcoded in the cellar. Prior coravining of this wine didn’t destroy it either, making this a double-bonus. From a 375, out of port stems. Grapefruit and lemon on the nose, these continue on the palate along with a faint petrol note. Acids are well-balanced and offer a pleasing mouthfeel

February 14, 2019 - Pop and pour with a dessert cheese course. This was a bounce back bottle after the last one fell a little flat. Apricot and lemon oil with nice acidity and balance. Wish I had more.

October 7, 2018 - Delightful. Bright and clean. Acidity pairs well with sweet desserts.

January 7, 2018 - Montelena (1987-2003) (Skokie, IL): From half-bottle. Served double blind. Really pineappley. Seems to have a really nice freshness. There's also a herbal quality, as well as a ton of coconut. Leaner on the palate, with way too much acidity. Waxy and heavy on the alcohol. I guessed some sort of Californian sauternes, but certainly a pale imitation of the real thing.
