September 16, 2022 - The 2011 Sauzets are a great success with this wine again showing classic green gold colour and a bouquet of white nectarine and freshly cut pear with touches of grapefruit, honey and limestone. The palate shows strength and drive with a lovely line of white stone fruit, citrus and pear with a faint touch of honey leading into an intensely mineral finish with plenty of grip and distinction. A fine 1er Cru with classic Puligny character.

April 11, 2022 - This wine is classic Puligny with a classic green gold colour and a slightly exotic but fresh bouquet of white nectarine and peach with touches of pineapple, grapefruit, honey and limestone. The palate shows strength and drive with a lovely line of white stone fruit, lemon and grapefruit with touches of honey and pineapple leading into an intensely mineral finish that grips and then gently fades providing an authoritative touch. Another lovely bottle from 2011.

February 8, 2022 - Last of 6, opened 30 minutes, half travelled cork, perfect level, bright and more nuanced, no pox, best yet, even upside! F (17.5).

November 24, 2021 - 5th of 6, opened 20 minutes, perfect cork and level, pale, no pox, honeysuckle, chalk and lemon, nicely fresh and pure, decent line and length if tad insubstantial, which is a feature of this climat, upside though most of my other bottles poxed to a greater or less extent. F (17.5)........cf Friday's Champ-Canet 10 from Pernot-Belicart which was much burlier and in my view atypical.
