Community Tasting Notes 21

October 14, 2019 - Hazy notes from lat night. My previous notes still seem relevant. There is a nice balance of fruit and a a textural thickness in this very slightly off dry wine. Both citrus and stonefruits are evident. It is aging well and should last a while yet. Very good QPR (B+/A-).

November 7, 2015 - No formal notes, but this was a solid basic Vouvray, with a light but nice nose of minerals, citrus and flowers, with the same flavours appearing on a light to medium bodied palate. Right on the cusp of dry/slightly off dry. Great QPR (B+).

August 8, 2015 - excellent minerals to go with clean Chenin fruit of green melon and pears. Crisp acidity made this enjoyable on a warm Saturday afternoon with family.

October 18, 2014 - For $20 this is a steal. Brilliant, golden yellow. Pear, green apple, hints of citrus zest. Nice underlying acidity, waxy. Lots going on. A little bit of heat but super delicious. Not bone dry and the texture of non fat milk. Thought provoking.

September 24, 2014 - Charmingly flawed wine I am being, and yes, that is the way to take it. And a pretty way to take it too.
