March 13, 2021 - Still big and bold flavors with lots of tannin to open with great notes

February 23, 2021 - This was nice. I'm not sure I can say it was more than that. I enjoyed it and got my bottles relatively cheap (under $30), so I can't complain, but this didn't have enough going on for me to seek it out at current prices.

February 14, 2021 - The wine has a nicely aged appearance. Light burgundy with an orange rim. Full of tertiary notes that smell like fall leaves and some cherry notes. Beautiful fully developed. Mouth filling yet gentle. Clearly has an aged character that shows everything I want from a wine that has been resting for 10+ years. Wish I had more. Drink up!

November 12, 2020 - Very evolved. Loads of juniper, earth, leather, and dusty red fruits on the nose. The palate is much more supple than would be expected from the nose, and emphasizes anise-infused red cherry and red raspberry fruit. Still has a reasonable tannin presence on the finish, but I wouldn't wait too long.

July 16, 2020 - Just a generic observation on my experience with this wine in multiple vintages. I always find it lovely, complex and satisfying, with lots of pretty character. Always an easy "yes" for me when shopping.
