February 28, 2023 - Near its peak.
Super well balanced through not very terroir wine. A bit too much oak ( but not overpowerering) covering the typical syrah flavors.very crowd pleasing (less so for the nerds:-)1 person found this helpful Comment -

February 5, 2023 - Monthly Tasting Group: Rhones (Noyes and Cutler, St. Paul, MN): Very dark red color. Drank a small glass at the end of the night. This came at the end of a long line of wines and like the '07 Sorrel Hermitage LG, didn't get the attention they deserved. There's a lot going on here, the nose is complex, nice dried leave and dried mushroom notes, black fruits, fig, scorched earth and mineral density with a little herbaceous edge.

February 5, 2023 - Kevins btl at our Sunday night big wine group Rhone dinner at Noyes & Cutler. A perfect Lowertown St Paul venue for our group and theme! Great food, service & roomy! Remember enjoying this but my wine attention span was fading. This cuvee always strikes me a great example of NR and a very good value. Fun to have in the mix.
