April 3, 2016 - Decanted for a good hour after opening. Big red blend of Cab Sauv, Cab Franc and Petit Verdot. Big oak on this one and the tannins are still in the forfront. A very oaky, dry red with huge tannins. Probably need to decant for a couple of hours. Had an interesting grouping of flavors including a bit of almond and menthol in the mid regions. Friends brought this to dinner...was great with the dark chocolate sea salt caramels for dessert.
