December 25, 2013 - This was an extremely divisive wine at Christmas Dinner. My wife loved it, a few people thought it was okay, and a few people really disliked it (me included). I am refraining from scoring it, but to me, I really did not get the freshness I expect from Sauvignon Blanc. Everything was covered by tons of almost sickly-sweet oak, which reminded me of a scented vanilla candle. I actually couldn't drink it properly, although I was intrigued (as others liked it), and kept sipping it to try and see if I could 'get it.' I never did, sadly.
