January 22, 2022 - Needed a full 6 hours to decant. At first was tannic and stringent (4 hours in decanter). But by hour 6 and 7 really opened up and showed it still had fruit and earth flavors. Drink now.

March 10, 2019 - Went well with a coq au vin. Was more of a California style with more fruit than a typical Bordeaux. In a good place.

February 13, 2016 - Great nose, caramel scent which raised expectations from the outset. This wine, strangely, reminds one of a Caymus on its nose but lacks structural integrity and the powerfully long finish that one can find in a Caymus. Nice balance, good acidity and ample tannins, but didn’t evolve or go anywhere beyond this. The nose being the highlight of the bottle, we drank half the bottle then sealed the rest in the fridge. Next day wine was flat, but acceptable. Having tried this wine, and I'm happy I did, I would hesitate buying it again simply because there are many more wines to try and be eagerly curious about in this price range.

January 18, 2016 - My Grade: EX. This bottle was every bit as good as the previous one. Full, bodied, opulent, with fine structure and complexity. This wine is a real rock-star: stunning value and a great find. Sorry to say I can't find any more. Drink now and for the next 5 years.
