May 7, 2021 - last bottle, lacking freshness and fruit, slightly sweet, but not bad at all.

February 10, 2020 - Fourth and last bottle of this wonderful wine. Similar to the others with bouquet and flavor of baked pears and brown sugar with musty notes.
Very nice definition and balance with quite a long finish. Pinot Gris is one of my favorite grapes when vinified in Alsace. In other places, the wines are more austere and not very exceptional.

December 27, 2018 - Third bottle of this wine tasted. Somewhat peculiar with unexpected intensity of bouquet and flavor when still colder than considered optimal. Lovely flavor of baked pears and brown sugar with some mustiness. Nice balance with good depth and a fairly long finish.

November 6, 2018 - This is not your typical PG. Deep interesting character with a tendency towards medium body.

November 7, 2017 - My final bottle and I am disappointed that I do not have more. Probably at the end of the peak drinking window, but I bet they will be enjoyable for a few more years (at least). Floral nose with melon. Sweet fruit palate, well balanced, peach, pear, sweet lime. Lacks a little acid, but the flavors are spot on!

October 21, 2016 - A little sweeter than expected, but it is handled well. Citrus and peach. Damp, sweet floral notes. The mouth feel is a bit fat, but it quickly passes. Drink now.

August 26, 2016 - Second bottle of this lovely wine drunk from my cellar. Yellow color with a bouquet and flavor similar to the first bottle with notes of brown sugar and baked pear, but I would also include a distinct and pleasant mustiness. Good balance and definition with a fairly long finish. Pinot Gris is at its best in Alsatian wines where its fruitiness is at the fore. The Italian wines are very angular and steely and I do not particularly like them. The Oregon wines occupy a middle ground and can be very pleasant, but so far do not reach the opulence of The Alsatian wines.
