September 1, 2023 - Great showing, showing a core of sappy red fruited flavours accented by those classic green/forestal notes I always expect in Loire CF. It still feels very youthful and the flavour profile hasn't changed much in the 11 years since my first bottle/note on this wine. The texture is something special with that sense of silkenness and airy feel I find in so many of these Franc de Pied wines. Glad I have one more.

September 1, 2023 - Pop and pour at Salil's. Lovely red fruit. Silky in the mouth. Mild green streak on the finish that I don't love, but it goes well with Salil's delicious chicken kebabs and roasted cauliflower.

December 18, 2022 - Has a fruit forward nose of cassis? Can’t quite describe the aromas as they are unique maybe elderberry too hint of black olive, all I know is I really enjoyed them, medium density mouthfeel , some cranberry and red fruits, red bell pepper with some spicy notes, not tannic moderate acidity medium to long finish was an excellent wine paired very well with London broil , an excellent wine I wish I could find more.

April 17, 2021 - The color is normal now, haha. Beautiful leafy nose, beautiful leafy and red-berried palate. Finishes with some spice and a little tannin. Not primary, but not showing much age.

March 31, 2021 - Informal notes from dinner. Very expressive nose of tobacco and red fruits. Lively acidity and mid weight flavors, this showed well but I was surprised how mature this bottle seemed; it developed additional character neither aromatically or in flavor as dinner progressed. Very good but would be cautious about aging this more than a few years.
