Community Tasting Notes 2

February 3, 2013 - Garnet core working to orange/pink rim. Nice red fruit on the nose with earth and leather. Nose matches palate: sour cherry, red plum on the palate with med acidity and med- tannin. Tannins are soft and well integrated. Nothing monumental, but a very nice example of St. Emilion in the hot year of 2003. Drink now... maybe a year left at most.

September 29, 2012 - Académie des Cinquante Bordeaux visit; 9/26/2012-9/29/2012: Fleshy and ripe but with a lovely freshness, red fruit (no confiture), ripe tannins, creamy, good length. A successful and balanced 2003.
