May 4, 2019 - lots of plum and blueberry fruit. Pleasant, easy drinking, but nothing special.

July 19, 2018 - drinking quite well. good balance, fruit and earth notes.

  • Purslane Likes this wine: 92 points

April 26, 2018 - This 7 year old Grenache from southeastern Spain is one of the best Spanish Grenaches I have ever had costing under $20. But the highest complement I can give this $10 wine is that is would make a great ringer served with what is arguable the best and most famous Grenache in the world, from the Rhone River Valley in France. Most Spanish Grenache tastes hotly alcoholic, less delicious, less lush, is made from vanilla sweet American oak rather than better structuring French and Austrian oak, and is not as well structured by acidity and tannin, but this wine suffers from none of these problems.
