April 17, 2023 - Very nice, wasn’t sure how it would be as it is beyond the drinking window . Smooth tannins, medium finish, medium body. Better than I had expected

August 4, 2021 - Deep ruby, slight fading to rim. Tons of dark berries, leathery, cured meats, warm spices. Good length. tannins well resolved but decent backbone. Very nice indeed. Fully ready but no rush at all. Double decanted a couple of hours and it needed it.

December 20, 2020 - I decanted for about 1 1/2 hours, and it was not enough. Sure was singing on night 3, though. Very important to give it the decant time it needs. These reviewers who say 4 hours, it's no lie. I have 3 more, and I am not going to make this mistake next time.

November 29, 2020 - Decanted 1 hour and served to accompany roast pork. Dark blackcurrant colour. Nose shows hedgerow fruits, vanilla, leather. The palate is bursting with ripe fruit, damson, peppermint, sloes. It's smooth and well balanced. Quite long. This is great now, not sure it will improve any further.
