September 28, 2019 - Takes some effort to properly decant and filter, but worth it. DD with 4+ hours of air definitely helped open it up to show aromas of floral bouquet, roasted espresso, and herbs, followed by blackberries, currant jam, pepper, and a dark chocolate finish. Lovely wine which will likely improve further over next 2 - 3 years

September 14, 2019 - PnP. Medium purple. Nose is complex with lightly baked pie crust, clean earth, dark fruit, tar, cigar box, lead pencil, cured meat. Quite a mix of a Bordeaux/Barolo nose to me. Also quite a juicy fruit forward palate. Full bodied. It finishes in a crisp fashion, but then lingers. Had no idea what to expect on this but I do enjoy it. Very good bottle of wine right now.

Not sure it needs a decant but I have one more bottle and may try that out whenever the time comes.

Updating for night 2, I think it's better. I'd say 93-94 right now.

    January 13, 2019 - Medium/dark purple - obviously unfiltered
Medium(+) aromas of black/blue fruit with beautiful secondaries of rose/ violets/ tar.
Medium palate of ripe luscious black fruit with medium acidity and medium(+) well integrated tannins
This wine manages full ripe fruit without being over the top. Great effort.

November 26, 2018 - Quite drinkable. Great QPR. Structured but lush. Lots of black fruit, even blueberry. Bit of tar.

November 23, 2018 - very dark still but no purple tones
very closed on the nose, getting some notes like brunello: tar, roses.
Nice viscosity in the mouth and after a couple of hours a very nice taste of sour cherries and chokolate.
excellent qpr that needs acouple hours decant or 2-3 more years in the cellar
