Community Tasting Notes 2

February 24, 2014 - Enticing nose of cherry/strawberry, black truffle, barnyard, fresh vegetal note, some initial heat. Similar on the palate, with good structure. Medium acidity with low, round tannins. Medium spice finish. Shows nicely for the first 30-45 minutes, then the experience heads south. Drink now.

January 11, 2014 - Tasted BTG at a restaurant; this was medium-light in style with some earthy typicity, but failed to excite. Fine for a Bourgogne but is probably wouldn't buy or order again.
