July 2, 2023 - Wine geek note is spot on. This was fantastic last night with the last glass at 4 hours being terrific.

April 9, 2022 - On the nose- Wild red fruits, brambly cherries, dried raspberries, berry compote, wild red flowers, mushroom, wet forest floor, wet tree bark, black tea, wild herbs, dark incense, sarsaparilla

On the palate- Wild red fruits and brambly cherries, dried raspberries and berry compote, wild red flowers and mushroom, wet forest floor and wet tree bark, black tea and wild herbs, dark incense and a bit of sarsaparilla on the finish. I decanted for sediment and gave it an hour and a half of air to blow off a little bottle funk. This wine is drinking KILLER now and I personally think it is at its peak of its drinking window but could go another 3-5 years if not a bit longer with no real problem.

December 19, 2019 - Medium light red with pink edges. Spicy, earthy red cherry and red flower nose. There was a hint of smoke in the background. Dry textured cherry and spice flavours and a beautiful slightly rich finish. Beautiful wine.

There is something here that a Burgundy rarely has, it's hard to explain. RIP Burt Williams.

December 15, 2019 - Medium dark burnished pinot color, cherry and raspberry nose, and some very Californian sweetness. At peak.

August 19, 2019 - big, ripe, but with secondary flavors starting to show. Don't see things improving from here though..
