March 10, 2024 - This wine is past its prime but is still delicious. Lots of secondary notes of caramel, butterscotch and peach. It’s viscous.
Color has darkened since last bottle. Acidity has dropped out but this wine is not cloying in any way. This is a 14 year old California Chardonnay made by a master. It’s superb for its age. Will be fun to try the 2007 and 2009 still in my cellar. -
