Community Tasting Notes 3

October 14, 2015 - Despite the winery's disclaimer about the Cab/Syrah blend, which the Aussies, among others, have been doing for years, this was a real beauty. Plenty of rich tannins, serious aging potentiel. Looking forward to drinking our last bottle in a year or 2.

December 9, 2012 - I normally donĀ“t enjoy many California Cab-Syrah true blends. This one is no different, and deserves its name. The two grapes never, in my opinion, fully integrate, and both make their presence known without allowing any melding with the other. A true bar fight in the glass. Such conflicts are never pretty to watch, and especially not pretty to taste.

November 6, 2012 - Lots of red fruit that follows from the nose to the mouth. Balance of acid and tannins
