Nez puissant et structuré sur le bleuet, la mure, le chocolat, la cerise noire, le menthol, l’encens et quelques notes vanillée
L’attaque est boisée, le fruit noir s’amalgame avec les notes vanillées et les tannins sont encore perceptibles malgré les 15 ans!
L’ensemble est nettement jeune, encore brouillon, bien qu’un début de tertiaire se fait gouter en fin de bouche avec quelques notes de cuir, de sous bois et de feuille morte
Un vin qui n’a pas tout a fait digéré son bois
91 pts mais pas mon genre ! -

October 28, 2019 - Weekly tasting group RWP #350; Bolgheri vs Bordeaux (@ CvR): Extremely dark red. Beautiful bouquet with dark berries and sweet spices. On the palate a concentrated wine with dark berries, chocolate, some sweetness, good acidity, herbs and sweet spices and some autumn impressions. Very beautiful, concentrated, but also elegant wine. A treat.

October 12, 2019 - Délice! Ça "puait" le Cab!!! Nez de cassis mûrs. Tannins assouplis, vraiment riche et dense. Au repos depuis 5 ans, il lui reste assurément de belles années, la prochaine dans 2-3 ans.
