April 30, 2012 - Drank this about three years ago- back then it was a 90. Drank Sunday and bottle had lost its ripe fruit. Tons of oak and initial heat- was hoping that after aeration and cooling it would open up. Never did. kick myself for aging.

June 9, 2011 - Lots of big black fruit, licorice and cedar here. Not a big concentrated wine, but more finess and soft mouthfeel. Nice finish with medium/full body. This wine is at it's peak but should drink well for several more years. I can't imagine it getting better than this.

December 1, 2009 - Very interesting woody nose - some sandalwood, I think. Nice fruit in the middle and some spice and toast on the long finish. Really nice cab - I enjoyed it and will be getting a couple more bottles!

July 29, 2009 - Strong fruit, overripe plums (prunes). Seems over concentrated. Moderate wood that somewhat counterbalances the fruit. Dark fruit finish andl light-med tannins add some interest in the medium-long finish. ...could be due to drinking a bordeaux lately...

March 26, 2009 - Garnet with a touch of mahogany on the rim. Spicy oak, cassis, plum, and some floral notes on the nose. Powerful flavors in the mouth, cherry, cassis, blueberry, plum, and spice. Tasty. Well-balanced, with a long finish.

    Drink 2010 through 2014.
