  September 2, 2015 - Nice leather and cherry and spice- all just in a kind of muted way. Better with food and better on second day. Tannins mostly faded and easy drinking

  April 4, 2014 - Deep brick color with wonderful earthy fruit nose. Deep smooth flavor of earth, leather, and cherry flavor. Wonderful old world Italian wine. Wish we had several bottles to enjoy this evening.

  December 31, 2010 - This bottle was delicious! Full and smooth with good fruit and structure and acid. better on night 1 than on night 2. This is the 4th bottle of this wine we have had. We loved the first one and thought the wine was a little young and would just get better. the next two bottles were disappointments. we probably drank those in 2007. we were not too excited about trying the last bottle, but we finally got to it and it was great. maybe the wine went through a dumb phase.
