October 5, 2019 - With friends before concert at China Village in Albany. Pnp. Medium yellow in color. Lemon zest and white peaches on the nose, Fuji apples, citrus, and white nectarine in the mouth. Fruity with some nice acidity. Our friends raved about this wine and how well it went with our food.

December 24, 2018 - Quite sweet and perhaps lacks a little acidity.
Overall a very solid and impressive wine. Loved it!

March 16, 2017 - Another win for the Coravin.

This bottle is only 1/3 full and has been left for 22 months since I last poured wine from it. Yet, it is perfectly preserved!

Classic, complex riesling nose with evolved fruits, honey, petrolium and a tiny whiff of sponti.
Creamy and sweet, lacking some acidity bite to balance sweetness. So not a very refreshing spatlese, more a satisfier for the sweet tooth.

Oh la la - Certainly ageable.

May 28, 2015 - Acid wise, this seems a little dull and lacking in spine compared to the 2013 and makes the wine seem a tad too sweet.

But otherwise very rich and juicy and very pleasant to drink.

October 2, 2013 - Colour: Bright golden colour
Nose: Tropical nose with notes of Papaya, lime and lemon grass.
Palate: Good acidity, broad & lush body. Good mid-palate but a bit short on the back end.

Would cellar this wine for some more years.

August 27, 2013 - Almost impossible to rate at the moment. Extremely rich and packed with fruit. Hold for minimum a year.
