March 11, 2017 - 2011 is still drinking well- possibly slightly less fruit palate compared to when tasted last year but overall this producer is my favorite for the dry furmint varietal and at a very good price

March 4, 2016 - really good dry furmint-
better than many of the expensive bottles. 2011 vintage not so easy to find now but drinking really well now.

February 20, 2016 - I drank this a few days ago and lost my note, but I enjoyed it quite a bit. It had distinct and significant lychee on the nose and palate. Lots of tropical fruit and very floral in fragrance. Good acidity, semi-weighty mouthfeel. This is one of my better experiences with Furmint, and reinforces my opinion that Royal Tokaji is one of the better producers.

February 5, 2016 - My first dry Furmint - very fragrant, a bit like a cross between Australian Riesling and gew├╝rztraminer on the nose, citrus and spice. Quite weighty, but with good balancing acidity. Carries its 14.5% ABV well, not hot at all. Perhaps a little hollow in the mid palate, but complex rather than linear with a good length finish. Certainly different. I like it.

July 3, 2015 - Familiar and yet different. Started very fresh, fruity and refreshing and over time gathered body and fullness. Pretty impressive.

March 9, 2015 - Simply just amazing. I tasted together with the 2012 vintage and they show perfectly what can a little ageing to this variety. From the merely fruit based younger wine this turned to have many similarity to Hunter Valley's better Semillons in aromas and flavors. Only wonder what can be 2 years later like...

March 2, 2015 - Ripe and fleshy, with strong nectarine, peach, and apricot notes on the bouquet and palate. Interesting weight and texture, great acid. Tangy, pithy, and chewy finish. Worth a look at $15 or so. 89-90.

January 20, 2015 - Dried apricot and honeycrisp apple on the nose, with loads of apricot, apple, and a touch of lime on the palate. A flinty note adds depth, and there's a pleasant roundness overall. Could use a touch more acidity. Different, in a good way.
