April 23, 2017 - A Sunday spring evening with friends (home): In the glass, medium orange-gold. On the nose, a riot of mandarin oranges, quince preserves, and passion fruit. On the palate, smooth, somewhat creamy, with ample sweet citrus fruit and a slightly botrytized finish, but this is really about sweet tropical fruit.

December 15, 2016 - Musar Dinner (Tim's, SF): Medium gold in the glass. Waxy golden-raisin with saffron. Slightly lower acid than the Betsek (still high). Strikes me as more developed and raisiny than the Betsek, and less tart and botrytized.
