June 10, 2023 - On opening, this bottle shows a little cheese on the nose. On the palate it is a compact and bright wine with some dry mineral and salinity. Citrus and green apple. Acids have some zip - a real alarm clock of a white Burg! Perhaps a shade lean...but this wine refuses to be ignored. An ideal food wine that would cut through pretty much any level of richness. Young still.

August 29, 2022 - Very fresh, bright and focused wine. Excellent mineral content and salinity. Good acids and a fairly linear structure. For me, this leans towards a Chablis profile...and I like it. Great with food - worked very well with duck confit and a creamy mushroom tart. Tons of life in this wine, so assuming no prem-ox trouble, this should age many more years.

March 23, 2019 - Still pale straw colour giving a hint of things to come
Quite floral aromas with a hint of butteriness
The colour gave a hint given the age but there is still plenty of lively acidity in this wine. Mineraly tending to citrus almost lemon flavour but with some toastiness and complexity on the finish. Nice length of flavour. One bottle left - will probably leave it for another 5 years

July 14, 2017 - I enjoyed this bottle more than the previous one. Similar notes, but seemed a little richer and complex, with subtle peach, apple and citrus notes. Very elegant.

October 24, 2016 - Apple, hay, and waxy nose. Crisp and clean, with subtle green apple and hazelnut flavors. I expected a richer wine. This drinks more like a chablis. Not bad though.
