April 9, 2017 - Really good, smooth & rich, dark berry color, medium to full bodied

March 1, 2014 - I agree with the previous comment that this vintage will improve with more aging. It had a wonderful deep, dark purple color and the cork was nicely stained at the tip. With its 14.3% alcohol I expected a bit more aroma up front. Decided to decant for an hour, which allowed it to reveal more aroma and flavors. It ended up being quite nice and would be even better paired with steak. It was very nice with the blue cheese and baguette I was having.

January 22, 2014 - Opened with a BBQ steak sauce bouquet, deep, ripe, medium bite, medium dry, tasty. Could be a 90 but let it age and it will bump up one, maybe more...
