October 8, 2019 - Agree with other reviews that this is past its peak. Complexity and jammy ripe fruit seem to have begun to subside. Drink now and decant.

May 18, 2019 - Pop n Poured from friends collection. Deep purple, dark fruits on nose. Black and blue fruits, raisin, medium tannins, excellent with grilled rib eye.
2nd day completely flat of aroma or flavor. Should have finished it in one day. May be past its peak window.
December 31, 2018 - As always, my ISO collection never disappoints. We started the evening with a hard-to-top 2011 Starr Ranch Terrestris, so the bar was set extremely high before we moved onto this 2010 Isosceles. We decanted this nose-friendly blend for 30 minutes prior to enjoying with our dinner of grass-fed filet, organic fresh asparagus, same-day-baked ciabatta garlic toast, and a feta-infused sweet caesar salad. The Cab in this blend carries this wine through a heavier protein like filet, and it was the ideal choice. The 2010 Isosceles was the perfect match for our New Year's Eve dinner.
July 19, 2018 - So good with steak. Fair amount of sediment. Otherwise Really tasty
April 2, 2018 - Wow! Decanted two hours: definitely still better with decanting but first taste made it difficult to leave alone. Wine is definitely maturing with very little alcohol heat left in it. The nose has nice fig and earthiness which follows through to the taste adding a little soft blueberry. The finish lingers and makes you want to forget the meal and just enjoy the wine. We had it with lamb and it was big enough to hold its own. I'm holding several more bottles and have no fear it will continue to improve over the next couple of years. Will I wait is the real question.
January 30, 2018 - Drank this wine at xmas so no formal notes. While this bottle was good it was not as good as it was a few years ago. This was my second bottle in the last 6 months of this wine that I felt this about. Would recommend drinking in the near term.
December 22, 2017 - This was very rich and ripe with some chocolate notes on first taste (90 pts). As the night wore on after 2 hours it begin to have more lift and brighter cleaner fruits with a hint of menthol (hence the 92 pt score). Much better with air. I might leave my others for a couple years
December 11, 2017 - Delicious Cab blend from Justin. Unlike the regular Cabernet Justin produces, Isosceles uses blending Cab Franc and Merlot to find tune the flavor profile modifying the wine and much improving both the nose and palate. I am not a huge fan of most Cabernets from Paso Robles but this wine is usually a real treat and this example is excellent. While the dark fruit is still upfront the acidity, tannins and earthiness provide a much better balance. The tannins are not harsh but more in tune and the wine finishes with a very nice medium length after note. No need to wait any longer but I think this wine will still improve for several more years.
October 9, 2017 - Time to drink. Softening up on the tannins but the fruit is still holding. Excellent wine.
