  • Teawine Likes this wine:

August 13, 2018 - Interesting. Has aged nicely into a stewed plum, prune, blackberry concoction with toasty baking spices: nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves. Palate has more a sour dark cherry fruit thing going on. Tannins have softened into fine powdery dust. Kinda wishing for a bit more acid for things to have lined up neatly. Finishes with a sour mulberry chocolate mocha thing, with hint of orange rind. Enjoyable, but best years no longer ahead of it. Great with wintery stews etc.
