April 10, 2021 - Decanted one hour and it was amazing
November 3, 2019 - Decanted > 1 hour. Big improvement from 2 years ago. If I didn’t know this was a blend I would have thought this was a big Cab. All the traits of Cab Sauv. Wine still has time but drinking extremely well right now. Wish I had more.
July 5, 2019 - Some of the fruit has dropped out, so that now there’s dried blackberry, stewed cherry, etc. There’s more tobacco and earth, and the spice is largely gone. Still quite good, we’ll balanced, etc, but starting to be less to my taste.
February 11, 2019 - Still drinking well but starting the downhill decline, drink now.
October 26, 2017 - Hugely aromatic nose with red and black berries, tobacco, and smoke. Also a bit spicy (like baking spice). Full bodied. Similar flavors. Drinking excellent now.
January 18, 2017 - Decanted about 1 hour. Dark red fruit. Very mellow, smooth drinking wine. PB does a great job with their blends and this fits the mold. Really nice wine, by itself or paired.
October 8, 2016 - solid wine, well integrated, drank over two nights. Deep and dark, dark fruits, medium/long finish.
September 22, 2016 - Decanted about 30 minutes. First bottle of the evening. Dark red fruit. Very mellow, smooth drinking wine. PB does a great job with their blends and this fits the mold. Really nice wine, by itself or paired.
August 12, 2016 - strain and decant, lots of sediment/ well worth the effort
