February 11, 2020 - A private tasting (Amsterdam, NL): Tasted blind. The floral nose is a clear indication of the grape variety, but the textural richness (paired with a distinct note of apricot) is such that it could easily be confused with Condrieu. Full bodied but avoids excessive alcohol, and there are no overt botrytis notes. An impressive wine, drinking beautifully now.

September 10, 2019 - From 75cl, perfect cork. Intense, pumped-up tropical fruit perfume, a parody of an unbalanced Grüner Veltliner Smaragd with odd melon/yellow kiwi notes. Intense, pumped-up, full-bodied entry. Blind I might have guessed one of those ridiculous Jamek GV Smaragd wines with 15,5% alcohol (the label claims this is 13,5%). The entry is the only hint this is made from Riesling grapes, a weird, almost confected sweetness which suddenly crashes into a sheer wall of slate minerality after about 3 seconds. Oops, the mid-palate... No, it isn't sweet, just built like Arnold Schwarzenegger. I don't like this wine, not being a fan of professional bodybuilding, but if you like your whites massive, huge, on steroids, it might be right for you. NR

December 25, 2018 - Dry, plenty of slate/minerals, a hint of lime. Light acidity. Pleasant, likely on the young side but not complex for the price and while I think it will not decline with age I’m also not sure how it would improve.

September 25, 2016 - Popped and poured. This is a very light yellow wine. On the nose, I get slate-mineral, saline, and some wet rocks. In the mouth, I get crisp citrus leaving a finish with a strong acid-mineral vein. Overall, this is a wine that is not very giving at first, but then shows a bit more of itself. I think it is good, but not really worth the price of admission. 90 points.
