May 14, 2017 - buttery, oaky, viscous on the palate.

February 15, 2015 - Nice chard made with a deft touch. Good acidity, some white fruit, lots of mineral and a touch of spice on a fairly long finish. Held up well over 3 days.

April 5, 2014 - Tart. Almonds. Some oak and a bit sour. Don't like finish. Cheesy but nice, new world but I like it, nose awesome, palate sux. Smokey nose, charcoal. Simple, fair.

March 30, 2014 - A very nice bottle for the price. Fairly rich, but not overdone. Better on the second day.

February 12, 2014 - Pale gold with slight green hue. Nose of bread dough, marzipan and apple/lime. Medium body, crisp acidity, leaning much more toward Burgundy than California. Elegant, but not too lean, this is a food friendly Chard with good balance. Very good.

(Forgeron Cellars Chardonnay Columbia Valley) Lightly aromatic with citrus peel, candle wax, toast, spice and a light floral lift. The palate has a rounded texture with creamy, pure fruit flavors energized by a streak of lemony acidity that runs from start to lingering finish. A gorgeous, refined expression of Chardonnay. 94% Chardonnay, 6% Orange Muscat. Weinbau, Kestrel, and Crawford vineyards. Aged in French oak (32% new). 818 cases produced. Sample provided by winery.
